Nigerian singer, Harrison Okiri, widely known as Harrysong, has rescinded his allegations against music executive Soso Soberekon.
The “Beta Pikin” singer, during an interview on the Frankly Speaking podcast partly anchored comedian, Nedu Wazobia, accused Soberekan of hiring assassins to deal with him.
“If you see Soso now, you’ll say Soso na my friendSoso is not my friend, Soso is my enemyHe sent people to come and kill me in Port Harcourt, no jokesAsk my team, ask everyone,” he said in the episode which aired last week.
The accusation led to his arrest the Nigerian police at the Lagos airport after his return on Tuesday.
However, the singer overturned his statement through a video he posted on his Instagram page on Saturday.
He also promised his fans that he now has good relationship with the music executive.
“About the video that was trending last week that some group of boys made an attempt on my life, yes it was trueIt was a group of boys that were misled, I now have clarity, it wasn’t Soso who sent them.
“I and Soso are good now, so guys thanks to everyone that reached out,” Harrysong said.
