Seyi Hunter, the Nigerian actress and self-acclaimed s*x therapist, has talked about the Big Brother Naija housemates.
Hunter is of the opinion that housemates who get intimate on reality TV show, Big Brother Naija, lack self control.
In an interview with Saturday Beats, she said, “Having sx on live TV is a ‘no’ for meThe person’s family will be watching for God’s sakeI usually feel embarrassed on their behalfAnyone that has had sx on BBN has no self controlThis isn’t even about the gameAll those who have won the competition so far did not have s*x while in the house.”
Hunter also stated that a former contestant in the ongoing edition of the show and ex-beauty queen, Beauty Tukura, deserved to have been disqualified for her actions in the house.
She said, “She deserved the disqualificationRules are there for a reasonWithout it, we will all live in chaosThe competition has a strict ‘no violence’ ruleWe all have to learn to control our angerHowever, the most important thing is that she participated in the showPersonally, I would give anything to participate in the show for just a dayI feel it is the biggest platform to put one’s self out there.”
Though quite a number of ex-BBNaija stars have ventured into Nollywood, Hunter stated that being in a reality show did not automatically mean that one could act.
She added, “Some of them are good actors, but certainly not all of themBeing reality TV stars does not mean they will be fantastic actorsMake-believe is not easyOne either has the talent or not.”
